Linda has been recognized for her efforts in the Rusk County community as well as within the banking industry. She was recently recognized at the Martin Luther King Program for her accomplishments in business and was also recognized by the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) and presented with the IBAT Award for Leadership.

Gloria King has been selected as the Employee of the Month for May 2014. Gloria is an Administrative Assistant in the Trust Department at the Downtown Longview location. One of her nominations said, “That Gloria is a dedicated, hard-working employee is obvious to anyone who meets her. Not only does she do her job at the expected level, but she consistently goes above and beyond to help Gordon (Northcutt) and our trust clients. Often those with ‘assistant’ in their title are overlooked and undervalued, but I think Gordon would agree that Gloria is indispensable to him and to the customers. I know of an instance recently where she went to a client’s rental property to assist the client in preparing the home for sale. I know of another time that she went to a storage unit with Gordon to help prepare the items inside for an estate sale. I doubt any of that stuff is in her job description, yet she does it willingly, with a good attitude and a big smile.” Gloria will receive a $50 Gift Certificate to a restaurant of her choice and will be recognized company-wide by Brad Tidwell, President and CEO. Congratulations, Gloria! Well deserved!
