Congratulations to Linda Cooper, the Employee of the Year for 2014! Linda is the bank’s Teller Operations Manager and provides training and support for the teller staff at all 25 locations. She joined the CNB family in 1992 and has been an invaluable member of the bank’s team. Linda’s Employee of the Month nomination cited her positive attitude, her willingness to help in any area of the bank, and her passion for helping and developing employees as just a few of the qualities that make her like a second mother to many of the bank’s team members. In addition to her duties at the bank, Linda gives back to her community through her involvement in her church and with various service organizations in Rusk County. She and her husband, William, live in Henderson. Congratulations, Linda! We are proud of you.

The week of December 17th, carolers from Wylie Elementary and First Baptist Church, both of Henderson, came to sing at the main bank in downtown Henderson. After each group finished, they were presented with a tray of Christmas sugar cookies for their class, courtesy of Citizens National Bank!
The ladies of CNB’s Spring Hill branch used their their “jean” money that is collected each Friday, plus a little more, to help a local needy family with Christmas. The family was very surprised, as they didn’t expect or ask for any help. The family had quite a few children, so each employee “adopted” one of the children and bought Christmas for them. The employees were also able to give the family a $135.00 gift card. Branch Manager, Kim Graham said, “I am so proud of the teamwork here at Spring Hill, they made this family so happy.” We at CNB couldn’t agree more!
