Spring Hill Branch Plays Santa

The ladies of CNB’s Spring Hill branch used their their “jean” money that is collected each Friday, plus a little more, to help a local needy family with Christmas.  The family was very surprised, as they didn’t expect or ask for any help.  The family had quite a few children, so each employee “adopted” one of the children and bought Christmas for them.  The employees were also able to give the family a $135.00 gift card.  Branch Manager, Kim Graham said, “I am so proud of the teamwork here at Spring Hill, they made this family so happy.”  We at CNB couldn’t agree more!

Congratulations to Chapin Miller!

Chapin Miller, Business Banking/Business Development Officer (Spring Hill), was recently awarded the July Ambassador of the Month with the Longview Partnership Chamber of Commerce.  Ambassadors are recognized at the Chamber’s monthly membership luncheons.  Ambassadors participate in ribbon cuttings, volunteer at Chamber events, and earn points throughout the year for their participation.  Great job, Chapin!

Spring Hill Employees Prevent Fraud

On Wednesday, Aug. 8, a non customer presented a check to CNB tellers Tara Roberts and Lauren Nesbitt to be cashed. The check had been altered, and Tara and Lauren refused to cash it. FSR Jennifer Barnett called the actual customer to verify the information and the customer did not know the person presenting the check. After further conversation with our customer, he disclosed that he had mailed 11 bills that day and all the mail had been stolen from his mailbox. We placed stop payments and opened a new account for him. He is thankful to the staff for their diligent efforts in catching and preventing any further loss.
