Tyler Grande Branch Manager Sheila Dixon and Vice President/Lender Sandra Browning co-chaired the event “Bras for the Cause” that took place recently in Tyler at Hollytree Country Club. Sheriff J. B. Smith served as auctioneer and some local fireman modeled the “bras for the cause”. The event raised over $32,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Cancer Society and Women’s Council of Realtors. Sheila Dixon said, “It was a lot of hard work, but a lot of fun and we raised a great amount of money for such a worthy cause.” CNB is very proud of these ladies and all the employees who volunteered and attended this event!
Congratulations to Linda Fulton!
Linda has been selected as the Employee of the Month for September 2012. She will receive a $50.00 gift card to the local retail store or restaurant of her choice, and will be recognized by the President on the next all-employee conference call. Linda serves as an FSR and Lobby Services Manager at the Tyler Grande location. One of Linda’s nominations said, “For all of us, the centerpiece of our branch is Linda Fulton. Linda’s smile and attitude resounds through our entire branch each and every day. She meets and greets every one that enters our door and she is the smiling face that answers the phone. You can hear her smile in her voice. She treats her co-workers exactly the same way and is always volunteering to do whatever she can to help someone else. She adds a ray of sunshine every day to our location and keeps all the needs of our customers handled and running smoothly in the lobby. We are lucky to have her on our team. She sets the bar pretty high for all of us.”
Thank you for submitting your nominations. Be sure to submit your nomination for the October employee of the month through the intranet suggestion box!
Quite a few CNB employees are volunteering their time this weekend at the Mexican Consulate event taking place at the Boys and Girls Club of Tyler, 504 W. 32nd Street, on Saturday, Aug. 18th and Sunday, Aug. 19th. Employees will be teaching financial literacy classes to attendees. A big thank you goes to Jesus Vera, Vice President at Tyler’s W. Grande branch for heading up this effort and to all the employees who are volunteering their time!
