Citizens National Bank’s Front Street Branch in Tyler participated in the “Dia del Nino” (Childrens Day) event on April 22, 2014 in the branch’s neighborhood. Each year, businesses from a neighboring shopping center get together to celebrate the children by donating toys and food. The bank participated by partnering with Elite Bicycles of Tyler and together, donated 14 bicycles to area children.
Branch Manager Jesus Vera and his staff set up a table at the event and served popcorn and gave out information about bank products. Employees that participated were Nereyda Valle, Adriana Valdovinos, Andy Diaz and Nancy Cornelio. Thank you to Jesus and his staff for giving back to their community!
Tyler Grande Branch Manager Sheila Dixon and Vice President/Lender Sandra Browning co-chaired the event “Bras for the Cause” that took place recently in Tyler at Hollytree Country Club. Sheriff J. B. Smith served as auctioneer and some local fireman modeled the “bras for the cause”. The event raised over $32,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Cancer Society and Women’s Council of Realtors. Sheila Dixon said, “It was a lot of hard work, but a lot of fun and we raised a great amount of money for such a worthy cause.” CNB is very proud of these ladies and all the employees who volunteered and attended this event!
CNB’s Tyler Grande branch participated in a clay shoot on Oct. 4, 2012 at Rose City Flying Clays, Tyler, Texas to benefit Tyler Area Builders Association. CNB Grande team won with a 421 score. Mark Dixon won high over all with a score of 96. CNB had two teams in the tournament, Phil Smith and Terry Tyson manned the other team. Pictured is Sheila Dixon’s winning team! On June 8 2012, Citizens National Bank employees from the Tyler, Texas area volunteered for the United Way Day of Caring. They tore down an old fence and then replaced it with a new fence at the Children Village. CNB employees that participated were Phil Smith and Priscilla Roberson from our Tyler Market Square branch and Sheila Dixon, Jesus Vera, Matt Trevino and Claire McNabb from our Tyler Grande branch.
